From a small town in downstate Illinios where I grew up surrounded by fields of corn and soy beans (and though a 4-H home-ec'er showed my friends' cattle and mucked out stalls at the State Fair).  Now, I live near the ocean where the crops are flowers and artichokes!

Married to my first husband with 1 child (grown daughter) and 2 grandkids (one of each....oh, boy and girl).

RN - non-practicing, but still in healthcare doing compliance.

I'm a MAJOR Disneyland fan (1st went as an old married lady and making up for it now!  Oh, and I'm the same age as Disneyland).  Love to read (well, duh, I'm in a book swapping club), cooking (former food writer), camping (still like sleeping on the ground), and just sitting peacefully.
